Can't change CHMOD for configure.php

Hi,

to cut a long story short I have zencart on my webserver but trying to install one on my fedora laptop as a test for designs etc.

I downloaded a brand new install of zencart and put it in my /var/www/html folder.

I can change CHMOD of the folders images etc. but I cannot change the CHMOD values of the two configure files. If I right click it and check permissions it says read write for all.

However when I go to install it comes up as configure.php is not writable.

:censored:its doing my head in!! 3 hours later and still stuck!!!

Any ideas?

Re: Can't change CHMOD for configure.php

Go to your cPanel - file manager to change permissions on the two configure files.
