Extra Whitespace on Border in IE

I've got a minor display issue in IE on my site, http://www.justbetees.com/. The header looks just fine in Firefox, but in IE (IE7, to be specific - not sure on others) the border below the logo displays a couple pixels lower than it should. The CSS I have is just one line:

#logo {
	border-bottom: 1px solid #323A46;
	}

I've tried setting negative margins and such to no avail; any ideas how to make this show up correctly in IE? I suppose I could always edit the logo image to have the border built in, but that isn't an ideal solution and I'd like to do it through CSS if possible.

Re: Extra Whitespace on Border in IE

Unless you need borders/padding/margins set them to zero... I had a quick look and with IE its difficult to see where that is coming from. so I would edit the stylesheet and for elements in that area, I would use

#logoWrapper, #logo, #logo a, #logo a img {border:0;padding:0;margin:0;}

Re: Extra Whitespace on Border in IE

Hmm. Thanks for the suggestion, but even that does not work, oddly enough; the whitespace is still there even including your css snippet.

#logoWrapper, #logo, #logo a, #logo a img {
	border:0;
	padding:0;
	margin:0;
	}

#logo {
	border-bottom: 1px solid #323A46;
	}

I once heard about some IE "3-pixel bug"; dunno if that's related at all. Annoying that IE wants to force there to be whitespace there no matter how much I try to insist that there should be none :/ (I tried having this at the top and bottom of the CSS too just in case I was missing something somewhere - no dice.) Any other ideas?

Re: Extra Whitespace on Border in IE

Well I've gone ahead integrated it into the logo image, though I'd still be interested in a CSS solution if somebody comes up woth one.

Re: Extra Whitespace on Border in IE

I beleive the line below would have fixed it for you... in stylesheet.css

#logo {height:98px;}
