Coupon Code added randomly to attribute?

Not sure if that is quite the way to put it LOL

What I would like to set up...if possible...

  1. Create 10 coupon codes, only one of which is active for 10 purchases only

  2. Randomly add one code each time to a single product as it is purchased, perhaps the code sent in email similar to how gift cert codes are sent.

Is this possible?
