The plugin creates a collection of sitemap files which, if pointed to by the site's robots.txt file, can be found by all search engines.

Using 4.0.3 with ZC 2.0.1,
Is it possible to have this plugin add all the EZ pages added to the corresponding sitemap file (i.e sitemap/sitemapezpages.xml )?
Most of my EZ pages are set as visible but are not active in footer, header or sidebox. The reason for that is for the EZ pages to be accessible via direct link but not necessarily showing in footer, sideboxes or header.
Because of this, Sitemap does not include the extra EZ pages to the file.
Of course, i could turn on all the ezpages in footer, rebuild the sitmeap then turn off the ezpages in footer. However, this is becoming a bit tedious.
Is there a way to have Sitemap includes the EZ-page as long as they are set to visible?
Hope my question makes sense and thank you for your help

Your question does make sense. I've created a GitHub issue (https://github.com/lat9/sitemapxml/issues/57) to track the change.
Shop Suey:
is sort order >0?
@nicksab is requesting that otherwise-hidden EZ-Pages be included in the sitemap. Those pages are displayed on the storefront so long as the page is defined in the admin, even though its footer/header/sidebox status causes it not to be displayed as a link on the site.

sort order does seem to change anything unfortunately. If any header/sidebox/footer are off, sitemap plugin won't pick it up regardless of sort order

I see.
I was able to do the workaround activating "sideboxes" because I don't use sideboxes.
But you probably do.

workaround?
I use some EZ pages in sideboxes and footer but not in the header.
I guess I could turn header setting on and then hide it with a css display:none.
Is that how you do it with sideboxes?

After looking more into it ,turn on header with sort order >0 and turning EZpagesoff in configuration ( forgot there was an actual setting for it ) seems to be a good work around for now.
thanks all for the advice

I noticed that when the sitemap in generated.
via sitemapmainpage.xml the end of the home page shows this at the end of the url 'index.php?main_page=index'
Correct me if i am wrong but google does not like that for the home page. It should generate homepage like this be https://www.yoursite.com/
Where would I make that change?

I do have a question I am using a website called Attracta.com to submit my store to the search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo. I have been using the full website like https://www.mywebsite.com instead of https://www.mywebsite.com/sitemap.xml. Do I really need use sitemap.xml to submit it or I can still use without it? What do you suggest?

Hello @lat9
Thank you for the latest upload, I have upgraded my old 3.9.6 installation in ZC 2.1.0 to 4.0.5 by first uninstalling the oldversion from the DB (files from old version were never ported, only DB entries remaining).
I noticed that the uninstall instructions at https://github.com/lat9/sitemapxml/wiki/Uninstalling have an error: the configuration_group delete query should use configuration_group_title not configuration_title.

Thanks for the report; that documentation has been updated.

Being that this plugin no longer pings the search engines (as they no longer accept pings) I have to assume that this is an upgrade of the module and you have old configuration values in the database.

@ma.r.a, you've got a downlevel version of /includes/classes/sitemapxml.php. You should probably recheck all the current sitemapXML files for completeness.

Hi!
I have searched the thread for different keywords and phrases and I don't seem to find my answers in 223 pages. Sorry if it was answered before, but I couldn't find it.
I'm running Zen-Cart v1.5.7c and for that reason I have installed version 3.9.9 of the plugin. I also have learned that "Sitemaps ping is deprecated." when I checked the ping Search Engines checkbox and hit send. I have also seen that mentioned in the plugin's version 4.0.0 description. But from that version upwards there is no support for my 1.5.7.c Zen-Cart.
Now, without updating my Zen-Cart store, what are my options?
I have already:

Sorry if the questions seem silly but I'm just a little familiar with php, and all I have learned is from here, from you. Thank you!
