Thanks for the offers of help. I gave up and just generated an .xml which has been accepted by Google. Not as fancy or have the added benefits maybe, but, good enough for us lesser mortals (Andrew).

Since I have so many products, (over 26,000), I use MS Excel for my data base and convert the files to .CSV files and then upload these files to my php/SQL server. The files I up load are Manufacturers, Categories, Categories Description, Products, Product Descriptions and Products to Categories.

This gives full control of my products and makes mass uploads easier.

So here is an example of my error in excel, which I converted into .CSV and uploaded into the products.sql

Hope this clarifies things a bit.

Yes, of course, in this case, the program crawl categories used. I think that this force majeure error and I don't think that SitemapXML should check the logical integrity of the database.

the actually products_sitemap is in this mode :

but i use in the website ultimate seo url

so I have not actually errors, if I click on the url of the sitemap step to my site at the following url

http://www.ganciotraino.eu/gancio-traino-45502031mamc-p-1226.html

multiplex in google webmaster then the url is not indexed cossispondono the url of the sitemap and I only have 7 pages indexed in 1400!

how resolved or configure the plugin for it's

Something very strange. SitemapXML works fine with the Ultimate Seo URLS and does not need any additional settings and/or configuration.

If you want, I can look for bugs - send me access to the FTP.

Hi - I think a YouTube video on this would be of great help someday (please).
I too am trying to install the latest sitemap tool on version 1.5.1. Have followed instructions UP TO the point I need to upload the includes folder into root. Since this will overwrite the existing "includes" , I will lose all my content in that folder. Am I putting these files into the wrong place?
Also, with this version - do I need to install an SQL patch? Thanks much in advance. :smile:

The root also contains the original "includes" file - thus my question. I cannot proceed to the next step (running the install) until the files uploaded to proper spot.

This plugin like all the free plugins are NOT commercial software.. Andrew is indeed a volunteer like all who donate free plugins.. He is not a "company", but a VOLUNTEER who maintains this plugin..

To answer your question uploading the "includes" folder from this plugin does not REPLACE your existing includes folder.. Your FTP program may prompt you about uploading a folder that has the same name as a folder in the destination location.. but that is merely an FYI message..

No offense intended. Still learning my way around and always appreciate volunteers. I'm one myself.

could someone kindly tell me why none of my categories, or products are populating in the sitemap, I have attached a screenshot showing what I am talking about, any help if apreciated, it took me a little while to figure out how to get this working and populating all of them, and now that I have it seems that it is only recognizing my static pages, and so is google.

The files that apear to error in ADMIN also error out when submitting to google.

google give this error "We were unable to read your Sitemap. It may contain an entry we are unable to recognize. Please validate your Sitemap before resubmitting."

Ok so it appears that I have got everything working here except for the products sitemap, and the categories site map, which kind of sucks as that is the majority of my store, I do have alot of products and a lot of categories, I am not sure why it gives blank page on these 2 particular sitemaps but the rest of them work just fine, any help would be greatly apreciated, as we have recently redone our store and need to submit new sitemaps to everyone due to the amount of url changes, and increase in products that we have added.

Think I have figured out what the issue is for some reason on the larger files it is not adding the "</urlset>" line of code at the end of the file? Does this mean that it is not generating the entire file because I possibly have to many links? or lines of code in the file? I am not sure exactly why it is not doing this, but just to double check and make sure that I have it installed correctly I have gone through and uninstalled the mod, removed all existing files, and re installed it twice, I am getting the same results, is there any way to force it to make a new sitemap after it hits so many lines, or hits so many URLS, I know in the description it says that it is either supposed to do it once the file gets to be either 50k URLs, or 10MB, however I am not seeing it do either one... any help would be awesome!

The absence of a closing tag </urlset> suggests that the script was not completed. Look at the error logs in the cache.
If you need help - can you give access to FTP, I'll see where the error is.
