Welcome emails stopped working!

My zen cart doesnt send welcome emails... It did, but now it doesnt!!!
i dont know what happened! pls help!

Hi, Its possible your host has changed some settings usually to stop spam. My tip would be to try using the smtp method in email configuration and see if that works

I have the same problem!! I have installed image handler2, simple SEO and integrated phpbb3. Now my zen cart doesn't send the welcome email. PLEASE HELP

Me, too. The welcome emails were being sent until a day ago when I turned off the Newsletter subscribe option. I turned it back on and one new test account got the email, but no other since.

I played with the options of display checked or unchecked, signed up in different browsers...and still no welcome emails. I didn't add or remove any mod recently, though I did tinker with the layout and colours of email_template_welcome.html and it was fine for the tests last week and the one test that received the email after the Newsletter issue. All other admin emails work fine and I even completed a few test sales thinking that it now took the actual purchase to trigger the welcome email...but no. And I tried the PHP, SMTP thing and PHP was the way to go.

I changed the text of the Newsletter display to Email Preference and changed 'Subscribe' to 'Coupons...' (I say on the website that creating an account means they will receive 2-3 emails a year because I also offer COWOA. That's why I turned off the option of Newsletter.)
