Add to cart button and quantity textbox not showing

Hi all,
I am using version 1.3.8. New products added to my site do not display the "Add this to my cart" button and the quantity textbox. Is there a setting in zen cart admin to be changed. Also please can you give me the steps to fix this issue.

In some products I see the "Add this to my cart" button. so I know this there is a step I am missing.

There are a number of settings for this that control the Add to Cart and input quantity boxes ...

Products with Attributes only have this on the product _info page as a selection has to be made ...

Products without Attributes should have various methods for adding to the cart but this is based on the Listing and the settings ...

If you have no add to cart anywhere ...

Check that your Configuration ... My Store ... has the Store Status set correctly ...

Store Status
What is your Store Status
0= Normal Store
1= Showcase no prices
2= Showcase with prices

If that is correct, look in the Catalog ... Product Types ... and EDIT the product type and make sure you have Add to Cart checked ...

There are a number of other settings but it would help to actually see your site ... :smile:

You have attributes ... so there isn't an add to cart on the Product Listing as the customer has to make a choice of what to buy ... :smile:

2. Can you tell me why some products have add to cart and some products dont have add to cart and quantity text box?

Click on each of those products ... notice you have to pick a size or something from the Attributes?

You cannot have Add to cart or quantity boxes on the listings as you don't have the attributes there to pick the size/color etc. so you get the ... more info link so you can make the choice ...
