white gap between header and tile_back.gif

Hi all I have 2 issues that I just can get round.

the first one is a white gap above the header and below the tile_back.gif image on the following website ravsappliances.com

I had a similer issue with a white gap below the header which was resolved by canceling out the clear-both tag. Im not sure how to do this one.

the 2nd issue I have is that I would like to place images in the footer of each page showing what methods of payment I accept. I havnt managed to do this so instead I created a banner and placed the images in there.

Any help would be appreciated

thanks

Re: white gap between header and tile_back.gif

for the gap, edit your stylesheet.css

#tagline h1 {margin:0;}

for the footer, I suggest editing your template file... tpl_footer.php

Re: white gap between header and tile_back.gif

edit \includes\templates\your custom folder\common\tpl_footer.php

find;

<!--eof-banner #5 display -->

<!--bof- site copyright display -->

and replace with;

<!--eof-banner #5 display -->

<!--bof- custom footer -->
<div id="customFooter">
    <a href="http://yourlink"><img src="./images/yourimage.jpg" alt="title of image" /></a>
</div>
<!--eof- custom footer -->

<!--bof- site copyright display -->

Edit your links and image urls....
