Newbie: How do I change the name "model" to another name?

ZC 1.3.8a

Refer to http://hugocruzgallery.com/shop/index.php?main_page=products_new

I searched the forums and could not find an answer. I hope this is an easy answer. How can I change the name "Model" (the actual word "model" that Zencart automatically adds to relevant pages) to something else? For instance, I would like it to change to "Art Medium"

How can i do this? I would appreciate specifics because I am pretty new to this (although I can manage pretty well with direction).

Thank you.

Look in includes/languages/english/document_product_info.php and find:

define('TEXT_PRODUCT_MODEL', 'Model: ');

change to

define('TEXT_PRODUCT_MODEL', 'Art Medium: ');

and save to includes/languages/english/custom_template/document_product_info.php

Re: Newbie: How do I change the name "model" to another name?

Hello Bobdog (or any one else reading),

I followed the instructions and changed the appropriate document_product_info.php file and saved it into my custom template folder. Unfortunately, "Model:" still appears as shown in the following pages:

http://hugocruzgallery.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_2&products_id=1

and

http://hugocruzgallery.com/shop/index.php?main_page=products_new

I also decided to use "Type:" in place of "Model:" ... i refreshed my pages several times but the word "model" still appears.

Where did i go wrong? i hope you can help.

Thank you. i really appreciate your assistance.

Re: Newbie: How do I change the name "model" to another name?

Well, thanks to the direction of Bobdog, I experimented with other PHP files within the English folder and answered my own question. For any one else whom may read this in the future, I edited the following php pages and added them to my custom template folder as instructed by bobdog above:

I made the following change

define('TEXT_PRODUCTS_MODEL','Type: ');

in all the following PHP files:

products_all.php
products_new.php
product_info.php
featured_products.php

and all went well :-)

Excellent, I was trying to fix this for my company as well. This was very helpful. Thank you.
