position of drop down boxes

is there a way of reducing the gap between the drop down boxes, for example the colour and lead size boxes on this page http://pinknblue.biz/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=18

my client wants the gap reduced across the whole site, on all pages so is there a way of doing it.

Re: position of drop down boxes

Try this:

Make an override copy of includes/modules/attributes.php by copying that file to includes/modules/bookshelf/attributes.php
Edit that new copy - delete this line of code at line 49:

<br class="clearBoth" />

Now edit your stylesheet to add:

#productAttributes {
float: left;
}

Re: position of drop down boxes

I've checked attrubutes.php and <br class="clearBoth" /> isn't on line 49... It's on line 257.

Is this correct?

 if ($tmp_attributes_image_row > PRODUCTS_IMAGES_ATTRIBUTES_PER_ROW) {
                      if ($tmp_attributes_image_row > $products_options_names->fields['products_options_images_per_row']) {
                        $tmp_attributes_image .= '<br class="clearBoth" />' . "\n";
                        $tmp_attributes_image_row = 1;

HELP!!!

Re: position of drop down boxes

my mistake - sorry
it's in includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_modules_attributes.php at line 49
make your edit, and save it to includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/templates/tpl_modules_attributes.php

Re: position of drop down boxes

Worked a treat... Thanks :-)

Now another similar problem. On the coats pages there's 2 types of coat a showerproof coat and a fur lined coat. Both these coats have small images showing back and front, however the thumbnails are on the wonk... They're not level and look messy.

http://pinknblue.biz/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=28

anyway they can be leveled up??
