Differences in IE and FF due to stylesheet

Oh grr I thought I was doing so well until I checked IE and somethings are all weird. (I use FF)

Why is it like this?

IE Browser: ```

FF Browser: ```
http://i41.tinypic.com/v5ztsn.jpg

I kind of went a little crazy adding stuff to the stylesheet... maybe there are better options for lining up the ADD To CART the way I want it to without messing with margin-right? And I don't understand why in IE the background is grey and in FF it's white (for the Home/Login etc nav bar)

And one more... this is actually in both IE and FF... but how do I remove some of the space between the product name/price/more info but maintain the space between the rows?

Image:

I messed around with the stylesheet earlier (but reverted after I couldn't get it to look right) so I know I'm close... just not quite there.

Any help would be appreciated!

Using latest version of FF.

Re: Differences in IE and FF due to stylesheet

After hours of searching for the spacing issue I finally found the solution. YAY!

I had to delete a <br> in the includes/module product_listing.php file

Now if only someone could help me with the IE/FF spacing thing... :P

Have you cleared your browser's cache? Have you solved your problem? Because the site (every page) looks the same in IE & FF, to me.

Teach them to shop and they will shop today;
Teach them to Zen and they will OWN a shop tomorrow!

Re: Differences in IE and FF due to stylesheet

I'm doing a quick install of IE8 to see if anything changes.

BTW is there a Firefox addon that allows me to preview how my site will look on multiple browsers?

I checked my site on Safari and it's all weirdly misaligned. And it is also misaligned in an iPhone.

Re: Differences in IE and FF due to stylesheet

Update: Since installing IE8 it looks the same in FF and IE. Still worried about other browsers though...

Anyone know of an add-on so I can check my site on other browsers? :D
