Display Price (ex VAT ) or (inc VAT)

Hi i was was wondering how i could add VAT to a price on a product,
and is it possible to display price like this £9.99 ( excl. VAT )

I tried adding the 15% vat in the tax classes but when i make a new product it doesnt add 15% vat onto the product.

Any ideas???
