Http to Https

New to Zen Cart and just received SSL cert. Using go daddy to host site. Need to switch web address from http to https or at least the shopping cart.

Any help is appreciated.

Great site by the way.

Re: Http to Https

If your SSL cert is installed properly, Zencart will automagically secure the appropriate pages (Login/Create Account and Checkout), after you activate it in the configure.php files. Check the Tutorials/FAQ for details.

Re: Http to Https

Your whole site doesn't need to be secured. If you have the configure files set up properly, only the Create Account page, My Account, and the checkout pages will be secure.

Re: Http to Https

Thanx Stevish Not the answer I was hoping for from a "customer perception" view point. What if I hand coded the links? Would that cause more problems than it solves. ( not to great with php- I was lucky to find the solution here for changing the config from "sub-domain" to "sub-folder" to use our SSL cert)

Re: Http to Https

 sorry about the spelling error. What about security warnings about unsecured content. How do I change the header banner link to https...?
