table rate shipping by zone question

i have the zone table rate modulal instaled and working great for uk postage for mainland, local and highlands etc

but i am expanding my business over seas to irland but on a smallers scale as my larger items are not able to be posted to irland, how ever smaller items are.

all my postage is filtered by weight, is there a way in which i can set for irland with weight over 100 t will show this item can't be posted or make it so item wont allow checkout or something, but anything under 100 is fine and displays the postage cost set by the rate is 99:14.50 etc

any ideas or help will be great

Shipping Modules are controlled by the $this->enabled and if set to true it will show, and if set to false it will not show ...

You could check the shipping address and the weight of the order and if >= 100 set it to false in your shipping module and it would not show ...

Since it doesn't show, it cannot be selected ...

If it cannot be selected, the customer cannot checkout ... :smile:

i can only post small items to ireland not large items... so what do i need to do so item under 100 is 19.99 but over 100 i can post??

im using the tables rates modual, and made a copy for irland
