Help needed changing banner color

Hi,

Just installed Zencart and started to customize.

I need help getting rid of the (x) at the top of the page where its not displaying an image also need to get rid of the tig line here at the top of the page.

Also the bg color of the bar that runs behind featured and new products i want to change that to the metalic purple bar i have on the page.

can anyone help plz?

1. I don't see an X on top of the page, but I do see you need to edit this page and set the permissions to 444, look below for the file path

2. htdocs/shop/includes/configure.php.

3. This gets rid of the big red warning box on the top of your site

4. Locate this: includes/templates/nightfall/css/stylesheet.css

5. Add this to the bottom of the sheet

6. #tagline {display: none;}

cheers for that thats one issue resolved. Im running the page in IE and just abover the S in oblivion tickets there is a x where an image should be for the powered by zencart which i deleted how do i get rid of the x?

the other major issue is i need to get a purple bar behind the new items text and the featured items text just like the one with home infront of it.
