Extra Cart Options, such as text for a trophy?

Not using Zencart for any of my clients yet, I need to know if Zencart can allow extra custom options?

I need to know if for example it will allow a text option on purchase of a trophy for example?

Because tutorial will explain how to ACHIEVE..

As the others are trying to tell you, you use attributes to allow customers to select specific customization options for the products they're buying.
The referenced FAQ article talks about setting up attributes, whether radio buttons, text input boxes, pulldowns, etc.
If you would like to see examples of how some are set up, simply install a fresh cart with demo products, and you'll see several products with text input options, including optional price-by-letter/word features.

Thankyou, a polite answer. I wasnt sure what feature I was searching for so I didnt know what search criteria I needed to type in. Thankyou.

I`ll try a dummy install on my server and go from there, at least I know its possible which was my original question. Cheers
