need some help with UPS module

here is the situation.

my dropshipper is located in Texas. They ship via UPS with standard rates. I installed the UPS module. Pickup method, packaging etc are configured correctly. I enter my drop shippers zip code under admin>>shipping/packaging. i use my drop shippers weight calculations which are converted to lbs for zen cart.

I then did some test transactions and the shipping costs are way off. Do i have to setup certain zones based on zip codes for UPS? Or is it something else i need to do in the setup?
