Anyone help with jqlightbox popup images

Hi, can anyone please help me. I installed jqlightbox and it's a great mod, however the additional images don't enlarge. The main product image works fine and when you click on it, it loads the LRG version of that image.

When you click on the additional images it won't load 01_LRG for some reason, it just loads the thumbnail again. Any ideas.

Also how do i get this mod to work on my ezpages as this is where i would like the mod to work the most, as its where my gallery is.

i have a suggestion, only only say because i had something similar.

try renaming the larger images as the problem i had was that in the more images section i was getting other images included in the wrong product.........the first 4 letters/numbers happen to be the same in my case.

but after i renamed and uploaded them the problem went away.

i should have reported my problem but they seemed to work fine now.

btw rambo is a great movie....i love early 80's stuff......bring back the original mullet :P andre agassi style, john rambo's was more tame

Problem seems to be when you put a number at the end of the large image. For example, the main image and all additional images appear with no problem. Then you click the main image and it enlarges in the lightbox no problem with LRG at the end of the image name.

The problem occurs when you have a number and then LRG at the end of the image name, its like jqlightbox won't recognise additional large images, just the first one that does not need a number.

The other thing i needed help with is how do you get jqlightbox to work on ezpages as this is where i want it the most, i can get around the product image thing by using compressed images for all of my additonal images, any ideas.

i am not too knowledgeable with ez-pages and im sure that many zencarters have more experience with this function as i am new to zen myself.

just try another naming method for your gallery that is more friendly.....hope it works for you, post again if this doesnt.

im sure that the author has a thread so it could just be alot of reading :(

from memory the lightbox is triggered from class element that resides in the 'a href' tag (please someone correct me if im wrong)

if all else fails do a quick and dirty by getting a seperate jquery function that isnt included in any zencart addons......i have done this on several of my pages (maybe not the gallery but other cool jquery addons) please make sure that you accommodate for users without javascript (just turn off javascript in your browser settings) and test again.

im sure to get criticism for saying this but experimenting with other tools takes time but gets results....but test test test.

but please try the authors thread as this has many questions that have been answered.

I thought that would have been a little obvious, but i know these people are very busy and give there time and so its all good, i was just expecting something better than where did you get this mod, so i started a seperate thread.

Renaming the images does nothing my friend, but thanks anyway.

I think i can just compress the additional images so i should be ok with those, its how you get this on ezpages thats bugging me.

In admin you can specify which pages to put the mod on but it does'nt seem to include ezpages in them unless i'm just using the wrong wording, in which case does anyone know what i should be typing in their.

im trying lots of new stuff and i might have something that you could use.........give me a day or two :)

i will make a test so i will try to help........zen is well built and adjusting other peoples stuff is quite hard if you are new to this.

im trying to avoid my main zen new mod issue as study this week killed me....so something new will make me happy and i will learn something new.
