Making Product only available in UK?

Is there a way to make a product only available to customers in the UK? We sell items on behalf of another company and due to their postage set-up we can only sell these to UK addresses. Also we sell a few items that cannot be shipped by air so again need to set these up to be UK only.

I have put huge writing saying uk only and explained in the product description why this is the case but some people from overseas still add these to their order - when paid by paypal we simply refund this amount and cancel the item from the order, however when they pay by card we have to take the entire payment or none at all and are therefore charged to refund the part payment to the customer. Its not a huge charge (50-80p a time) but when you are talking about items for £1-3 or so its frustrating to have to keep doing this because customers ignore the UK only part.

Is there anyway to set this up or is something similar on a zencart wishlist?

Yea, I think if you go to Admin>Locations / Taxes>Countries, and delete all the countries EXCEPT the UK, it will deny all addresses that aren't in the UK. May have to delete the Zones, as well, if this doesn't work......but I think it will.

You will also want to go to Admin>Configuration>Customer Details:**Create Account Default Country ID, **set to UK.
Also, on that same page, you might want to change the:
State & **State - Always display as pulldown? **to your needs.

In addition, just to make sure that they understand, put it in your Terms & Conditions, and make it a requirement to agree to them in the checkout procedure in Admin>Configuration>Regulations

You might try Googling 'ceon advanced shipping'. That (not free, but reasonable) mod can do almost anything with shipping.

Now, that I've had a little sleep, I see you are absolutely correct. Wow! I shouldn't have even been TRYING to answer questions, then, as I had been starring at this screen for almost 24 hours.

Sorry, pudzpud......in my sleepiness, I mis-read your post, thinking you wanted ALL PRODUCTS that you sold to be restricted to UK, and not just some.
