styling index whats new boxes HELP

i cant for the life of me figger out how to style the home page / index whats new boxes.

the problems i,m having is resizing the boxes.

the div for these is boxes shows as .centerBoxContentsNew but when i give it a width is does nothing. something is overiding my CSS sheet any ideas???
