index featured items problem

for some reason i cant seem to style the index featured item, product details button. this is an image button and when i style the button it also moves the product image which is no good when i need the button on the right and the image on the left.

this only seems to be the case when i have more than one item selected as featured items. when 1 item is selected it uses a different style to when more than one is selected for some reason.

i want it styled like there is only one featured item as im only displaying 1 at a time.

what im after doing ti getting the featured item show detail buttom to be in the position of the button when 1 item select, but i want it so when their more than one selected.

when there is only one selected the button has its only style class but when more then one selected it doesn't for some reason. Please help
