"You Might Also Like" Box

I've been searching through the forums and the add-ons and I can't seem to find anything relating to what I'm looking for.

I want some sort of "you might also like" box on each product page, showcasing similar products to the one currently being viewed. Just like what they do on Amazon and pretty much every other online retail store. Is there some way to go about doing this?

I'm making data mining plugin for zen cart, and it will have most advanced publicly available recommendations afaik ;) Inlcuding:

• customers who bought x bought also y
• customers who bought products in your shopping cart bought also
• what customers buy after viewing this item
• what customers view after viewing this item
• and more

I plan to take vacation in July and finish it. So, stay tuned.. ;)

Now A Long way around this/short term fix as I have been dangeroulsy thinking would be to set up some test/dummy customers and complete checkouts by buying similar products...

Then enabe the 'customers also purchased' box...

Not ideal but will give some of the desired effect...
