You seem to be using images at 512px × 640px scaled to 46px × 57px... This is very bad practice. You shoud install the Image Handler 2 mod to handle the excessive image sizes, or else use the Zen Cart built in image structure 1.jpg 1_MED.jpg 1.LRG.jpg

Also, if you're going to have such a narrow center column then you need to think about reducing the width of your main wrapper as it looks awful on a wide screen...
