Add Product/Item to Cart Automatically on Page Load

Howdy all.

Just q quick question about how I might go about adding a product to the cart automatically as soon as a user visits the web site...

We have several free products, and we'd like to have these pre-loaded in the cart when a user visits.

any ideas on how to do this?

Any help is sincerely appreciated.
