Help on shopping cart layout please?

Hi,
I have my set my site live now while still adding products. I was showing my partner how to handle an order and noticed a very messy shopping cart :(

I have estimated shipping turned on as I ship by weight and want to encourage customers to spend by knowing where they are at rather than getting to the end to find shipping is too high. It looks fine on a guest screen, but once you log in, the estimate shipping table goes into the sideboxes on the right, with the shipping address taking precedence down the left.

Can anyone tell me how to align the table so that the address is showing with the table tidily underneath please? I dont want to mess up an otherwise "working fine" site.

Thank you

Re: Help on shopping cart layout please?

First, all of your secured pages are giving the secure/non-secure error in IE, probably caused by the 'bookmark and share' thing in your footer.

I created an account using a US address, and your shipping page told me you aren't shipping to my area at this time. If you don't ship to the US, I'd remove that (and any other countries that you don't ship to) from the listing in admin, so people from those countries can't create accounts. If you do ship to the US, you have a problem, probably with zones. You can search the forum for "Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time".

Re: Help on shopping cart layout please?

ah yes - bookmark was on my todo list but products going on took priority - I will do that tomorrow.

I have international shipping on my other store and auctions, but Zen cart is new to me and i decide I would like to get au fait with it prior to extending my postal area. I wouldnt have a clue how to remove the non-postal zones atm?

I really wish I could have it set up like yesterday as there is so much I still want/need to do to my site

Thanks for looking - are you saying the estimator doesnt show up if you have an international account? I thought it just gave you the "we do not ship" message

Ive removed the bookmark references and there is still a secure problem so that must be the banners Im guessing?

Thank you Steve for making the effort to help me. I found the screenshots weird, because the one with the estimate table on it is completely under your address and yet on mine its next to. Also, we have a "rigged" US address and although I get that message on checkout about not shipping, I still get the table going to the right.

I think what I will have to do is sleep  and restart in the morning.

I will clear my cache and then go about working out shipping rates for international, as ultimately I will be shipping outside of the UK anyway, I was just trying to alleviate some time to build my site first. I guess Im learning fast! :frusty:

Re: Help on shopping cart layout please?

Hi,
aesthetics Im sure, but its bugging me - could anyone please tell me how to center the text "search" in both my header and sidebox buttons, and also how to change the text in the sidebox "enter search keywords here" to fit.

I tried the suggestion given to me for the header text, but I couldnt make it work and its really annoying me now :frusty:

my site is mythsngifts.com

TIA for any advice :lookaroun
