Items purchased

How would I be able to show how many of an item had been sold and how many times it had been viewed. I mean this to show next to the product on the catalogue side - not in admin so that visitors could see if an item was popular.

So for example, a customer could look at an product fro sale and along with the title, description and attributes, he could also see something like:

XX of this product have already been sold. It has been viewed xxx times.

This info is already shown in admin I think, so I guess it would not be too difficult for you clever coders to show this on the catalogue product pages.??

Thanks, although to be fair after 5 years on this forum I do know my way around and it wasn't intended to be a wish/want, it was more of a 'does zencart allow me to do this already'.

But fair enough!
