1054 Unknown column 'zen_order_id' in 'field list'

I am not techie so please be patient with me. I am really struggling to get my shop up and running and would welcome some help.

We have turned PayPal IPN on. The customer can pay no problems and I receive their money but they are not directed back to my website and receive the following error:

1054 Unknown column 'zen_order_id' in 'field list'
in:
[SELECT zen_order_id, paypal_ipn_id, payment_status, txn_type, pending_reason FROM paypal WHERE txn_id = '7HR10556AD485102N' OR parent_txn_id = '7HR10556AD485102N' ORDER BY zen_order_id DESC ]

Even though I have their money I do not get order details :dontgetit

I have searched the forums and seen this problem mentioned before but the resolution is never mentioned.

Someone please help as it's so frustrating.. I feel so close to getting my shop up and running and this is getting me down now.
