New Install Zen Cart 1.3.8a " Done but with errors on page" ?

Hello everyone,

This is the 3rd time I have installed zencart and it pretty much went without a hitch, however now that my site is up and I am listing products for sale, I noticed that little yellow triangle one the bottom left of the browser showing " Done but with errors on the page ".

It seems to slow down the page from loading a good bit, and somehow it opens up an Adobe Acrobat screen as if I am trying to view a PDF.

This happens on my desktop PC as well as my laptop pc, both use IE as a browser.

Here is the text from the details of the error:

Webpage error details

User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/4.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30618)

Here is the URL http://lauriestreasurechest.com/

During this process I have avoided posting questions here and searched the forums, faqs, & tutorials for all of the issues I have had, and learned a lot by doing so, however, this one I can't seem to find, Hopefully, someone here can lend a hand.

Thanks in advance

My anti-virus software tells me that your site is also trying to load a 'malicious' site at http :// jl.chura.pl/rc/. Might be your chat thing - try disabling that and see.

Re: New Install Zen Cart 1.3.8a " Done but with errors on page" ?

Thanks Stevesh for your reply,

I uninstalled the live chat that I was using and the problem persisted.

I am running Adaware right now to see if it can identify and remove the malware.

Side note: when I go to the url listed in the details of the page error it shows a partial tool bar for adobe acrobat, which explains why I see a adobe acrobat image when my website loads...

I will keep this updated, and if anyone else has any input it would be greatly appreciated.

Best Rgds,

Re: New Install Zen Cart 1.3.8a " Done but with errors on page" ?

 Hello All,

I thought I would report back in case this info might help someone else.

Evidently this http://jl.chura.pl/rc/ is a pretty nasty virus. The forum entrys that I have read indicate that it is from a server in china and it alters all of the html files in your computer.

What I did was download all of the server zencart files to my desktop and then cleaned my computer with Norton Antivirus. I then uploaded all of the files back to my server and overwrote all of the existing files.

This worked well, however my admin page was blank, no way to sign in and take the website off of maintenance mode.

Since I didn't have a customer base, or may products listed, I reinstalled the website and used the existing stylesheet, which saved quite a bit of work.

At any rate I'm back up and running, and glad of it.....

Thanks,
Best Regards, Razor:smile:
