I have duplicate side boxes of every category!

I just installed a new zencart and set up my custom folders. When I changed to my custom template I now have 3 category sections on the left, 2 review sections on the left, 2 information sections on the left, 3 more information sections on the left, and on the right I have double sections or everything (sponsers, search, have you seen, etc).

What did I do wrong? After I changed to my custom template in admin I reset the layout boxes controller.

Something is screwy here. Please does anyone have a clue what could be wrong?

(This is a brand new store I just uploaded, not my original site)

The site is currently down for maintenance. Please excuse the dust, and try back later.

Switch to the classic template and see if they repeat

Re: I have duplicate side boxes of every category!

All I did was follow the instructions I found in the forum on "How Do I create a new Custom Template?" (https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=142) I created custom folders where it told me to create them, I copied the includes/templates/template_default/css directory to my new includes/templates/custom/folder then finally copied includes/templates/template_default/template_info.php into my includes/templates/custom/ folder. Then I just switched to my new custom template and it looks like that! I really haven't gotten very far!

Re: I have duplicate side boxes of every category!

Try this:

FTP your classic folder to your local > rename the folder to a name for your template > edit the template_info.php to reflect this name.

FTP this folder to your server and in your admin select this template & reset your sideboxes
