Shipping Options

Hi

Our courier offers shipping options "by Air" or "by Road",

What is the best way to offer the choices to the customer and tag on the estimated delivery days information on the choices....

For instance:
We cap our delivery weight at 25Kg, so the orders are based on shipping charges of 25Kg, I may need to look at doing in 1Kg Steps

Shipping to Greece:

By Road: - £32 (Upto 6 Days)

By Air: - £22 (first half kilo) + £1.60 per half kilo upto 15Kg + £0.80 per half kilo there after ????????? No idea how to do this in the shipping module......

I currently use zone rates but am not sure of the best one to use to the best effect.

Any ideas welcome.

Not sure if it will suit you but you might look at 'Big Royal Mail' add on. It works for some people who use Royal Mail in the uk for sending things globally. There is also a module for Parcel Force.

Of course your requirements might be very different....

Also the individual modules give you some ideas about how to set them up.
