Can't get long product names to display

After searching the forum, I've gone through products_description, orders_products, customers_wishlist tables and updated the products_name column to a varchar 255...however, I cannot make product names that are longer than 64 characters show up in the product listing page or on the individual product pages.

I verified that the data is showing in the database correctly, but I can't see more than 64 letters in the cart.

Anyone have anything I can try?

running vs. 1.3.8a

Tt,
This might be of some value for you to read

http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=125059

That was one of the posts I read, but I can't find products_name anywhere but in the 3 tables I've already changed?

I went through everything manually at first, then scripted all the tables out of mySQL and ran a find for anything matching products_name, but nada, no luck...

Is there any other field(s) that I need to change?

It is under product_description in the database. So in your database you need to click on product_description first. Then another list opens and you click on product_name there. Then you change/edit the length/value to whatever you want it to be.

I must be missing it...I just don't see that anywhere? What menu and submenu in the admin section is that?

Re: Can't get long product names to display

Ok, open up phpMyAdmin from your control panel.

Click on the name of the database that you want to work on in the top left corner of the page.

A list of tables should open up in the main window.

Scroll down until you see the product_description tabel

To the right of 'product_description' table there should be a button that allows you to view the structure of that table.

Look for the 'product name' field in that new window and to the right of it you should see a button that will allow you to edit/change the variable for that field.

In this new window just change the length/values number to whatever you want and click save off to the right.

OK...I suck....yeah, I updated the length fields previously, but I think I just missed some running an update query from a spreadsheet I keep all the names in...updated again, and blammo...all okay :)

Thanks for the help!
