Re: Overlapping images sub category Mozilla Firefox

Hi Sim,

Did you manage to fix out why it happened? or a fix?

I've been getting the same image overlapping problem as well in firefox - the annoying thing is that it's intermittent. When the images did overlap, I viewed the page source, cut and pasted it into both dreamweaver/IE - and the site works perfectly. Very puzzling..

I have the same thing and also intermittent and ok when it is refreshed. It has been driving me crazy so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I can't say that this is causing your problem, but your product images are 10X too big (file size, not dimensions). Fix that, and see if your issue disappears.

The Image Handler 2 mod will help.

Re: Overlapping images sub category Mozilla Firefox

Still stuck on this... I resized all of my images to the exact pixel width/height of the category images (so as to avoid a larger image being scaled down) - but that didn't seem to do the trick...

There's a similar thread going on here http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=129517&highlight=overlap . But it doesn't really shed any more light..

Any ideas? Thanks in advance..

Re: Overlapping images sub category Mozilla Firefox

:bigups:Managed to get this working... Is ok in Firefox and Safari now... :bigups:

I pinpointed that the code <td class="centerBoxContentsProducts centeredContent back" style="width:24.5%"> was the culprit. So I played around with removing the width code as well as replacing the class code and it all seems to be working fine in Firefox and Safari..

This is what i did:

In the \modules\CUSTOM\product_listing.php file;
replace;
$list_box_contents[$rows][$column] = array('params' => 'class="centerBoxContentsProducts centeredContent back"' . ' ' . 'style="width:' . $col_width . '%;"',

with;
$list_box_contents[$rows][$column] = array('params' => 'class="tdCatIndex"',

and in the \templates\CUSTOM\css\stylesheet.css file;
add;
.tdCatIndex {text-align:center;} or however you want to format your image/text.

That's it. Seems like an easy fix but a pain to find...

Hope this helps.

Re: Overlapping images sub category Mozilla Firefox

I have installed image handler2 which does not correct the problem, although it is indeed faster i have issues toowith this as it does not show additional images.
So i am uninstalling IH2 and looking for a fresh solution.
My theory is that it has to do with layout and column widths.
Ahh i see you have found a fix let me try that!
