Re: Moved zen to Root cant access admin, but site ok please help!

Could your check, the two files on your server, and make sure they read exactly as you posted these?

The reason I ask is often the two files need to be set to 444 and that means they cannot be overwritten or updated unless the files are either first changed to 644 or are deleted from the server and then reloaded ...

Another cause could be related to the .htaccess file doing re-writes and causing problems ...

Re: Moved zen to Root cant access admin, but site ok please help!

You might also reload the files for the:
/admin

as your Catalog seems to be working fine but all the errors are on the /admin area ...

Re: Moved zen to Root cant access admin, but site ok please help!

no, didn't work either meaning the configure.php on the server matches or you just now reloaded all the files for:
/admin

and all of its subdirectories?

Another option is rename:
/admin

to be;
/admin_OLD

and now reload all of the files for:
/admin

NOTE: be sure that the directory /admin is on the same level as /includes

Also, you did not say if you have any .htaccess or anything to do with re-writes such as SEO etc. that could be gumming up the works ...

Re: Moved zen to Root cant access admin, but site ok please help!

Next choice is to install the Debug Tool from the Free Softwaree Add Ons ...

Then, I would get something like Beyond Compare where you can do an actual FTP compare of your good files on your computer with the files on the Server and see if something has been damaged, is missing or other corrupted in the transfer ...

Re: Moved zen to Root cant access admin, but site ok please help!

Nifty eh?

Sometimes, when all else fails, reloading in this manner helps to eliminate issues with permissions etc. that may not be obvious and helps load a good copy of all files and directories ...

Be sure to get the most recent security patch loaded ...
