Images: red cross

I use Zen Cart 1.3.8a, MySQL 5.0.67, PHP versie: 5.2.9

On my shop today no images for products are shown anymore. In stead only "red cross". Also when I enter a new product and define the image for the product, it does not show up either.
Made no changes recently, do not know of any changes made by the hosting company.

when i try to access your images directly i get following error

you may contact your host regarding this issue . also check to see if you have correct permission set for images folder , CHMOD for folder should be 755 ..

Thanks! I re-created the images folder and that solved the problem! :D
