Multiple Categories Link Manager - an Improvement.

Thanks for the reply, gjh42! No that's not the site. The site I was talking about is a zen 1.5.1 and the top level categories do have subcategories. The way the site is set up is like this:

Top Level Categories > Brand Names > Brand_01 > Brand Collection > Product
Eco-friendly
Contemporary
Casual
...

The products are linked to categories such as Casual, Eco-friendly,.. etc

Thank you!

Re: Multiple Categories Link Manager - an Improvement.

So Brand Names has levels of subcats with all of the products at the bottoms of those branches, while the rest of the top categories have no subcats, and products are linked directly to the appropriate ones of those from their brand homes. That is a reasonable structure and one that should work well.

So what is the problem with (sub)category display? Have you installed the mod and found that it doesn't work as you desire? I have not used it myself so am not familiar with all possibilities of its display.

Re: Multiple Categories Link Manager - an Improvement.

There is no problem with display, but since there are hundreds of categories on the on the product link manager (domain.com/shop/admin/products_to_categories.php), it makes it hard to find the top categories mentioned among them, so it slows down the process of linking and kind of difficult. It would make our job much easier if on the product link manager page (products_to_categories.php) it would show only the top level categories (with no subcats).

cheers!

OMG this is awesome! It works without the mod installed, as well. Thank you so much!
