footer navigation disappeared

I just noticed my whole footer navigation is gone. I don't know how that happened and unfortunately I'm not sure where to start looking to restore it. Can I please get some suggestions on how to get it back?

So it looks like the footer is activated in the ez-page settings page and sort order is not '0'. The footer tpl file exists as well.
I did just clean up a trojan attack from my site so I'm wondering if that could have somehow changed something somewhere. Any advice would be appreciated.
