No download links in Checkout Success page

I upgraded to 1.3.8 recently. I am noticing that customers do not get links to their digital downloads on the "checkout success" page after coming back from Paypal's IPN pages. They can click on the account link, then on their order, then download. But that is a pain.
In my old version the download links were available on the "checkout success" page. Did something change in this version? How do I get those links back?

I was hoping someone could confirm that Zen Cart should have direct links to the downloadable products on the checkout-success page.

If not, then does anyone know of another post or mod to make this happen?

When payment is completed and successfully confirmed, yes, the download links are available, either on the checkout-success page (if payment has been verified by that time) or in the My Account area in order history.

If your PayPal transactions aren't completing properly, then you have a problem receiving the update notices from PayPal. You'll have to fix that before your store will see the orders or show them to your customers, including downloads.

Maybe you didn't properly upgrade all your .php files?
