Duplicate categories & all its products?

When I move products to clearance, I move the entire category (actually sub-category). I would like for the subcat to display in the clearance section, but also under it's original category. These subcats can have a lot of products, and it is time consuming to copy as a link one at a time. Anyway to do this in bulk - all items in the category at once?

I found my answer. I thought I'd go ahead and update it here, just in case anyone else searches the forum with the same question.

You can do bulk copies via the copy link on any single item. Select an item and click the "C" button for copy. On the bottom right is a bar that says "Multiple Categories Link Manager". There's a lot more in this that just linking that one item to multiple categories in one click. From here, you can also

• link all products in a category to another category
• change the master category of all products in a category
• remove all linked products from a category

A pretty powerful tool. Which I'm sure everyone already knows, but I was quite excited to find!

There is also a great mod called Keyword Categories. You select the category you want to copy to, type in a keyword, click search and all of the results appear. You just tick the boxes of the ones you want, click update and it's done. It's so fast!

I am wondering if it is possible to just link an entire category to the clearance section though without having to make a new sub-category to hold the linked products in. Does anyone know?
