Installed 1.3.8a patch but admin is still "admin"

I followed the instructions letter for letter and firstly renamed the ADMIN folder to "BNBADMIN".

Made the 3 changes in the admin/includes/configure.php file all to the new name as noted above.

Saved my changes and went back to the new address (https://www.bearsnbuddies.ca/bnbadmin) and I get an error that it can't be found but the old bearsnbuddies.ca/admin works.

I checked with my FTP program and the "ADMIN" folder is no longer there but the new "BNBADMIN" folder is.

Advice please?
