Meta Tags custom keywords feature what..

Hi There,

Wondering what the custom keywords feature in Zen Cart does?

File: includes/English/My Template name/meta_tags.php

// page title
define('TITLE', 'My Website Name');

// Site Tagline
define('SITE_TAGLINE', 'My Website Tagline');

// Custom Keywords
define('CUSTOM_KEYWORDS', 'What does this do? Does this work? If I view page source after editing there is nothing visible. Editing the above taglines are immediately visible when edited. ');

// Home Page Only:
define('HOME_PAGE_META_DESCRIPTION', 'Home of my website name');
define('HOME_PAGE_META_KEYWORDS', 'My Website name and what we do in a few words ');

I'm using the Meta tags features for products.. which is perfect... but I want my home page meta tags to list keywords of the brands we offer and our location for search engine referencing.

If there is a better way to do this please advise.

No one answered this post and I wrote another one a few weeks later and got a response.. so thought I would paste here as may be useful to someone else.

CUSTOM_KEYWORDS are for all dynamic pages not otherwise defined.

Setting HOME_PAGE_META_KEYWORDS is defining these keywords for the homepage so the CUSTOM_KEYWORDS no longer are used.

In the zen cart admin section you can give each category and each item. If thats what you are looking for.
