Duplicate Product when Searching?

Hi,

I am not entirely shure if this is the correct place to post this.
Recently users have started to report thatn when searching for an item their search returns two items that are identicle.

I had a look into this myself and saw that the search results were being duplicated.

It has only recently started doing this and I am wondering if it is fixed by changing something in the zen cart configuration?

about my site:

-Zen-Cart 1.3.8 (from install, no upgrade)
-Custom Wholesale, Drop Ship and Retail Store Ordering system, Sage 200 integration

I've had a deeper look into this issue and it seems that if a product is linked with another category or sub-category it will appear twice in a search. However if the product is not linked it only appears once in a search as it should normally.

The problem seems quite clear I just need to know of a fix.

I'm also having a problem with duplicate search results.

I have 1.3.8 version but it was same on 1.3.7.

I have 2 languages and essentially it shows the same product 2 times in the search results - one for each language which makes the website look a bit unprofessional so I want to fix it. I would like it to only search the current language for results. I'm sure I saw something on how to do this the other day but didn't take note of it thinking I could find it again but can't.

I'm sure what I saw was something about editing a file and putting a language option on the query - If anyone knows how to do this please let me know as this is one problem I can't seem to resolve.
