Zen cart professional templates

Hi,

I am writing this thread because I wonder why other shopping carts like Mgento, OScommerce etc. do have so much nice templates on the web but Zen Cart doesn't? I know Zen Cart is a powerfull cart software, I used it myself. Why all programmer and companies like Template Monster on the web are selling all other templates but NOT ZEN CART???

ANY EXPLANATION???

I think that is a question that is better posed to template providers, don't you?

Most of us think that Template Monster sells all too many Zencart templates, considering the problems visitors here have with them.

Because unlike the others you listed above zencart uses a true template and not a skin

and the powers that be over at template monster are either to lazy or stupid( or a combination of the 2 ) to follow the template convention.
they do it their way and screw just about all of it up,
they kill features and totally rewrite code, they include EVERY file in the template rather than just the ones that are actually changed.

thats just the start but I will stop the rant there......

The flexibility of zencart is unsurpassed when it comes to template design. You are limited only by your imagination... and expertise!

I have seen some truly amazing zencart sites and am very envious of the "masters" that create them.

As Merlin says, there is a huge difference between a "skin" and a "template".

Magento can only WISH that it had zc's design flexibility !

I remain unimpressed. The same effects can be achieved without paying high prices for templates which make simple changes from the admin impossible. I'll take any of the free templates from the site I posted before I'd pay for one of those.
