gift certificates and newsletter
two stores---
store number one:
gift certificate -- i go to admin/gift certificates/coupons/mail gift certificate/issue and send gv
sometimes when the customer returns the store won't let them use the gv, no matter where they enter it to redeem it. It claims to be either not valid or expired when it is just issued.
upon looking in the gift voucher sent section it says it was redeemed yet it did not deduct the price either. I had to make other arrangements with the customer.
this doesn't happen all the time just some times. did I miss a setting somewhere....and yes I have tried the coupon admin section and found out that those issued never work when attempted to use.
store number 2:
store got moved to a different domain name...same server just donain name change. I changed the links in the 2 config files (admin/includes and includes) and the store seems to be working fine except the newsletter.
When viewed online the header image is seen. But when viewed in email client the header is a red X.
Is there somewhere I missed to change the info? We took a look at view source and it is listed with the right url and as I said viewing in browser shows the url is correct.
We are lost...lol btw the email client is outlook express
any help is welcome
