Blank Page after changing no CURL

Folks, I've been working with GoDaddy for 5 days on this and am frustrated beyond believe. As you know the shut off proxies and I have followed the announcement to do so here to the letter. Now when I click Confirm Order, it waits forever and then returns a blank page. This is a virgin install and I only changed "Use SSL" in the php Configuration files and checked the syntax three times...nothing missing or added as far as I can tell. So I ether charged my card about 10 times or didn't charge it at all (did a live transaction to make sure it works!)

Anybody have any idea why this is happening? I know it's because GoDaddy changed to no proxies and I shut proxy use in Zen...have no idea what to try now!!!

Are you referring to curl or proxies??

You need curl to use most any of the payment methods

... and if it did charge your card, you can refund the transactions from inside your PayPal account with just a few clicks, and you won't be out any money.

Try the debug-logging utility mentioned in this FAQ: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=82
Then do another transaction, and see what errors are recorded in the log file, if any.

Thanks for your suggestions, but I followed your Announcement here about shutting off the cURL Proxy Status in My Store because GoDaddy quit using proxies. So I don't get the Can't Connect to Card Company message (in red) anymore, I just get a blank page result when I confirm the transaction in the cart.

I also tried removing the cURL Proxy Address as well and got the same blank page result!!

Is that explained any better? I'm stuck, now...

I also tried the debug utility you suggest, but get no log file...:(

And I'm not using paypal, I'm using Linkpoint...

I've never been able to use Linkpoint with GoDaddy hosting because GoDaddy doesn't open port 1129 through their firewall. That would easily explain the timeout followed by blank page.

The only way GoDaddy has said it could work is to make you buy their overpriced virtual or dedicated server plans ... and you can easily get better hosting for way less price (and way better support) at many other companies, so there's no point trying to do it with GoDaddy. See the "Certified Hosts" link at the top of this page if you want some suggestions.

If you want more verification on my statements, just search this forum for linkpoint and godaddy ... and grab a large pitcher of coffee and tissues.

Yes, thank you, but I already gave up and canceled that account...moving to a different host and cart...thanks for all you input...
