Something werid is happening to MY PRODUCTSS!!!!

Here is the website i am buliding for a friend

im used a template, everything was going well just untill yesterday when for some reason when I click on the products they give me a 404 error page. Its strange bechase they show up on the admin as well and when i try to edit a product i get the same error

This is not a normal Zen url...not sure why the CAKES text is in there but I am guessing that is your problem....

I have taken off the "CAKES" from the product catergory.

Im sure thats not the problem.

CAKES is still showing in your page URL -

The usual main_page=product_info is somehow showing as main_page=CAKES_info ... which suggests you've added a custom product type to the database and assigned it to some of your products but haven't actually created the rest of the product-type infrastructure to go with it.
Either that or you've gone into Admin->Catalog->Product Types and mussed with the settings there, creating yourself some trouble.

Promogator I am sure that is the problem or I would not have written, I am just not sure how the problem got there...

There is no text and the just a path to the product....

Look at the direction Dr. Byte gave you...you changed something between yesterday and today in the admin to make it do this....

Just think back through the steps of things you may have changed in the last day.....

All i did yesterday was add a new category
it somehow messed everything up

the category was CAKES

now for some reason i belive that is what messed everything up.. anyway to fix this problem?

anyone willing to look at my ADMIN?

Is there anywere in the PHP i can edit to change the directory CAKES to just product?

this is getting really irritating...
i dont want to have to start over :(

You're not listening. It has nothing to do with the name of a "Category". It's a product-type configuration thing which you've mucked with.

In the product-types area, which I mentioned in my last post, you've changed the "handler" setting from "product" to "CAKES". Change it back to the original "product" and it'll work like it used to.
