Help, my logo and header are bleeding...

Hey everyone,

I checked out the thread entitled "HOW-TO: Image Preparation" in First Steps & General Customization Issues, and I may have missed something.

My logo and header seem to bleed into the background. The clarity isn't what it should be.

Could this be because the files were created and uploaded as a jpeg? If so, how do I rectify this where I get a sharper image?

Do I need a certain program to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what the issue is. The logo looks good to me.

It just seems a bit blurry to me for some reason. Is there any way I could sharpen the image?

you can sharpen the image .. you need a program like photoshop or other image editing programs that allow you to sharpen image.

how dose your original image look ? is it sharp ? if so , you may need to play with image quality when you saving the new file . with jpeg , you can select image quality before saving .

Try saving it as a gif instead of the jpeg - It should be crisper.

Re: Help, my logo and header are bleeding...

Thanks for the input everyone, I'm actually changing the color format of the website, going with more of a blue base.

I'll play with the images as I get to it and post results as they happen.

Thanks for the input everyone, I appreciate it a lot.

Cheers
