Email footer shows location of my admin folder

Hello,
I'm using ver 1.3.8a patch 1. The file \admin\includes\languages\english\email_extras.php on line 40 reads:

define('EMAIL_FOOTER_COPYRIGHT','Copyrights (c) ' . date('Y') . ' <a href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT) . '" target="_blank">' . STORE_NAME . '</a>');

This causes some emails (i.e. those sent as a result of an action taken using the admin panel) to display the location of the admin folder in the link next to the copyright info. Emails that use the definitions in file \includes\languages\english\email_extras.php are not affected.

Solution: Change line 40 of \admin\includes\languages\english\email_extras.php to the following:

define('EMAIL_FOOTER_COPYRIGHT','Copyright (c) ' . date('Y') . ' <a href="' . HTTP_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG . '">' . STORE_NAME . '</a>');

Thank you,
Jesus Castro

Re: Email footer shows location of my admin folder

The officially-released version of the v1.3.8 /admin/includes/languages/english/email_extras.php file looks like the following, for that line:

define('EMAIL_FOOTER_COPYRIGHT','Copyright (c) ' . date('Y') . ' <a href="http://www.zen-cart.com" target="_blank">Zen Cart</a>. Powered by <a href="http://www.zen-cart.com" target="_blank">Zen Cart</a>');

It appears as though you've copied your /includes/ version into your /admin/includes without noting the subtle differences between the files, resulting in the problem you indicated.

Re: Email footer shows location of my admin folder

You are correct. I had done this some time ago and forgotten about it. My apologies.

Re: Email footer shows location of my admin folder

I had this same problem going to my admin and tried to replace the same line. Now when I press the link it goes to http://www.my3site.com/www.my3site.com/
and gives a 404 error

Any suggestions?
