Subcategories can I show products?

When a costumer clicks on a categori and this categori has subcategories it shows these subcategories in the middle of page. I would like to see a few product instead.
So when a costumer press on a categori, he or she should see a few products instead.
I hope you can help me with this and understand what I mean.
