Copying into Define Pages

Anytime I copy something in Difine pages, it add a tons of tags and messes up my format. I know windows clipboard does this, is there a way I can stop this, because it has been quite a headache.

Copying from what??

first i was trying from word, so I could spell check what i was typing....then i tried from a couple different places, like gmail, notepad, wordpad, i even tried from a myspace blog....it keeps doing it.

NEVER copy from a word processor
This is CODE - and you need to be creating and using a CODE editor that ONLY uses plain text

NotePad is a plain text editor but do not paste from anywhere else - create/edit in notepad

Or just create in the admin editor for the page

If you are a PC user you are in luck. There is a nifty little tool called pure text. I love it and it is free.
