Removing the Weight from above the shopping cart

Yes i have read the Faq here that tells me

Go to: Admin->Configuration->Shipping/Packaging
Select Display Number of Boxes and Weight Status
Choose the desired setting:
0= off
1= Boxes Only
2= Weight Only
3= Both Boxes and Weight

However the weight is still showing, no matter what setting i pick nothing changes, and yes i have refreshed the page multiple times and used 2 different browsers to eliminate even the remotest hint of possible cacheing

Thanks Kim, I did search but obviously not well enough

May I suggest that the advice

admin -> configuration -> layout settings -> Shopping Cart - Show Totals

Be added to the Faq I mentioned in the first post.
